FBI offers $ 100,000 for information on ‘Queen of Cryptocurrency’

Bulgarian authorities included Roja Ignatova, dubbed the “Queen of Digital Money”, on the list of ten most wanted people, and offered a $ 100 million reward to anyone who provided information about her.

The FBI offered a $ 100,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Ignatova, who was charged with eight counts of electronic fraud and securities fraud in 2019.

U.S. authorities are demanding that Ignatova be arrested for allegedly conducting a cryptocurrency scam known as OneCoin.

Federal investigators have accused the fugitive woman of using a scheme to extract more than $ 4 billion from her victims since 2014, when the scheme began to offer commissions to buyers if they sold Waynecoin to more people.

Ignatova has been missing since 2017, when U.S. officials signed a warrant of arrest against her and investigators will soon find her.

FBI agents say the coin is worthless and not protected by the “blockchain” technology used in other cryptocurrencies.

According to allegations made by federal prosecutors, it was a fraud scheme under the guise of cryptocurrencies.
