NPR launched a taxpayer-funded “disinformation” reporting team ahead of the election

The taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) has created a group of “disinformation” journalists, encouraging people to mock online who teach the long and obnoxious history of the liberal web of storing information they don’t want the public to hear.

For example, in October 2020, NPR refused to cover the story of Hunter Biden and his notorious laptop, suggesting that then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden lied about his rebel son’s involvement in a foreign corruption deal.

At the time, NPR tried to justify the lack of information on the subject in a news release by public editor Kelly McBride:

[T]The Biggest Reason You Didn’t Hear the Story of the Writing on NPR [on Hunter Biden] He said the wording didn’t really matter.

“We don’t want to waste time with stories that aren’t really stories, and we don’t want listeners and readers to waste time on just disturbing stories,” said NPR news editor Terence Samuel. for me. “And to be honest, what we got was a politically motivated event, and we decided to treat it that way.”

Some stories made by NPR about the NY Post investigation are limited to how Facebook and Twitter limited the spread of the story, or how the families of those seeking addiction treatment were affected by the depiction of Hunter Biden’s struggles.

NPR, like other left-wing publications, dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop story before the election as “disinformation” – despite the fact that it turned out to be true and attempts to refute its legitimacy are in itself the only “disinformation” – before the election.

Earlier, after the 2016 election, the NPR ombudsman suggested limiting live interviews to conservatives, after currently interviewing this writer. morning edition and challenged NPR’s reporting and emphasis on racial content in programming.

NPR’s new “disinformation” group comes just weeks after the Biden administration’s attempt to create a “disinformation” team at the Department of Homeland Security collapsed during a public scrutiny of its future leader’s views.
