Fox Sports has apologized for adding the Yankees and Red Sox logos to an image of the Ground Zero memorial in New York, which was used to advertise Saturday’s game.
Fox used aerial footage of baseball team logos perched atop the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum on the World Trade Center site on Saturday, which drew criticism for the futile use of the sanctuary. .
The 9/11 site photo includes a view of the reflecting pools where the North and South Towers stood before the devastating terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
Of all the New York aerial photos submitted to Fox Sports, did they choose to place their baseball logo on the 9/11 Memorial?

The reaction was immediate, and Fox Sports wasted no time in apologizing.
“We misjudged the use of graphics in today’s post. We sincerely apologize and regret this decision, Fox Sports told The Daily Beast.
