EXCLUSIVE: David Sokol explains the forces behind Woke Capital

David Sokol, CEO of Teton Capital, joined us. Breitbart News on Saturday at SiriusXM with host Matthew Boyle to discuss the causes of capital awakening and our current economic crisis.

Sokol, who is also president of Atlas Corporation, pointed out the many causes of our current economic crisis, exacerbated by “perhaps the most incompetent president, vice president and cabinet in the country’s history”. “.

Along with his role in business, Sokol is the author of America in Perspective: Protecting the American Dream for the Next Generation.

Sokol noted that the economic shutdown during the COVID-19 pandemic was “clearly misguided”, before pointing out that the Biden administration’s decision to spend $2 trillion was made “without thinking about why they did it.” He went on to say that we need to reduce the money supply in the economy to overcome the crisis.

Sokol also criticized the left’s approach to energy policy, noting that they “distance us from independent energy for full alignment with outside powers”, which “creates a very dangerous inflation that must be stopped”. Otherwise, the average American will pay a huge price for these misconceptions.”

Sokol criticized the Biden administration by saying, “We have an administration based mainly on identity politics,” and “Who really makes these decisions?” she asked. “Obviously neither the President nor the Vice President… I think Americans should know this,” Sokol said.

Falcon and Boyle continued their discussion of the American Dream, and Boyle said, “You worked in high school to pack groceries in a supermarket and now you’re one of the best CEOs in the world.” Praising the Founding Fathers, Falcon said, “They should be given a great salute every day,” noting that the American Dream is truly unique in world history.

Boyle asked Sokol, “How can we go back to the way we were?” she asked. points to temporary conditions as a potential opportunity to reign in the Biden administration. “We must prevent this administration from destroying the economy and making mistakes in energy policy that could kill several generations,” Sokol said.

While she said we “always” need filibuster, she also touched on the importance of filibuster by saying “it exists for a reason…to agree on decisions.”

Sokol also commented on the dynamics of the relationship between government and business, saying that shifting corporate America to the left might be the wrong attempt to mend these strained relations. He told a story in which he was threatened by a senator that he did not want to testify against the law, and suggested that company leaders embrace leftist beliefs to “buy peace” from politicians.

Sokol called it a “big mistake”, arguing that even if you now agree with the left, they will cancel you if you disagree.
