CNN Senior Political Analyst Kirsten Powers declared the GOP “anti-democratic” on CNN’s “The Lead” on Monday.
He said the November midterm elections were an “existential” crisis for the country.
Discussing Democrats’ proposal to support a denialist in the Michigan Republican primaries, Powers said, “You want to encourage Republicans to do what’s right and do what’s best for the country, not what’s best for the party.” said. Powers added: “Look, I’m not saying this is an easy problem. I’m just saying that if you believe Republicans as a party are anti-democratic, they are.
