1,000 voters took part in the poll between 17 and 18 August, with a margin of error of two points.
The vote comes at a time when Republicans are trying to win seats in the House and Senate. The House of Representatives is more likely to be Republican than the Senate because the Republican Party is defending more important Senate battlefield states in 2022 than the Democrats.
But interim polls favor Republicans.
