The U.S. Congressional Intelligence Committee is holding its first hearing on unknown aerial phenomena, called “unidentified flying objects,” to which military officials have testified.
According to NPR, this session, which was broadcast live on YouTube, was the first in more than 50 years to specifically respond to the phenomenon of “unidentified flying objects” since 1969.
During the session, Pentagon officials showed Congress declassified videos of flashing UFOs, showing 400 reports of “unspecified weather events” in recent years.
