US Congress meets to discuss “unknown flying objects”

The U.S. Congressional Intelligence Committee is holding its first hearing on unknown aerial phenomena, called “unidentified flying objects,” to which military officials have testified.

According to NPR, this session, which was broadcast live on YouTube, was the first in more than 50 years to specifically respond to the phenomenon of “unidentified flying objects” since 1969.

During the session, Pentagon officials showed Congress declassified videos of flashing UFOs, showing 400 reports of “unspecified weather events” in recent years.

The clips shown are of statements by Scott Bray, Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence, and Ronald Moultrie, Under-Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security.

“The video clip and the image of the glowing triangles remained unresolved for a while, but were eventually identified as drones,” said Bray, who showed photos and video. video… And I have no explanation for it. ”

Congress instructed the Pentagon to report regularly on this phenomenon, and last year the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report containing 144 flying objects seen.

Investigators did not find extraterrestrial connections to planes or other devices flying at magical speeds or orbits, but they highlighted the need to gather better data on what Democrats and Republicans as a national security concern.
