He indicated in a press statement following his participation in the United Nations International Migration Review Forum in New York that “the two countries reached an agreement to set up a committee to demarcate the bilateral borders between them during the meeting. in Brussels”, expressing Turkey’s delight and welcoming the offer. The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia have taken over negotiations on a comprehensive peace agreement.

Cavusoglu praised “Azerbaijan’s support for the negotiations on the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia”, stressing that “we have always encouraged and said that Armenia should respond to the goodwill approaches shown by Azerbaijan.”

He stated: “We see that the Armenian government is under pressure from radicals at home and the diaspora abroad, and we told US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and our other colleagues about the need to encourage Armenia more in this direction,” stressing that “during our meeting we reiterated Turkey’s and Azerbaijan’s desire for peace and that they have shown good will for the sake of stability in the region.
