Former Moldovan President Igor Dodon has said that his country does not need any military assistance from NATO, otherwise the alliance will allow key players to use Moldovan people in their scenarios.
Dowdon said: “We personally urge all warhawks in the West and British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss that they no longer need their own deadly weapons. NATO military assistance from NATO could hurt us and worsen the situation, which will bring pain and grief to our country. Make cannons feed our soldiers and people in pointless scenarios for the best players in the world.
He mentioned that Moldova is a neutral country and this is its main geopolitical advantage in dealing with any military risk. Dodon hopes Western politicians will be careful not to cause disputes over Moldovan territory.
Yesterday, British Foreign Secretary Lise Truss said in an interview that Britain and other NATO countries were discussing the possibility of providing arms to Moldova.
