The Syrian Ministry of Interior has granted the opposition National Reforms a license to join the list of 11 licensed parties in Syria since 2011.

Party General Secretary Hussein Ragheb confirmed that the committee issued the license to the aforementioned party after examining its documents and completing all legal procedures for licensing and publishing its documents in official newspapers as part of the reform steps taken by the Syrian political leadership in order to improve the political climate and provide an opportunity for new political parties to participate in the political process.

Ragheb pointed out that the founders chose the name “National Reform” because of their strong belief in the need to constantly develop the political, economic and social life in Syria within the framework of the state and under the roof of the nation and law.

The new party’s general secretary indicated that “what was taken by force can only be restored by force, and that martyrdom is the way to victory” and that his party “believes in the importance of helping the rest of the country.” forces in building a society of justice and freedom, as well as a commitment to national unity as a defense of an impregnable homeland”, rejecting “any interference”. the fundamental goal towards which all civilized peoples and nations aspire.

Ragheb explained to Russia’s Sputnik news agency that “this is being done through members, respected Syrian officials and businessmen,” stressing that this is not external funding, but internal funding and from Syrians who reject corruption.
