The Yemeni News Agency (Saba), citing a military source associated with the Houthi group Ansar Allah, reported that the “Coalition for Legitimacy in Yemen” (Arab Coalition) over the past 24 hours.

He explained that “violations of aggression were expressed in 52 flights of armed reconnaissance and spy aircraft in the airspace of the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Hajja, Al-Jawf, Saada, Al-Dali, Al-Baida and border fronts”, noting that “the mercenaries of the aggression created military fortifications around the city of Marib.

The source indicated that “thirteen violations were recorded in the form of artillery shelling of the positions of the army and people’s committees in Al-Balak al-Sharqi, Malaa and Sirwa in the governorate of Marib, Bani Hassan in the governorate of Hajja, Al-Malakhiz and a cemetery in the governorate of Saada, and also the camps of the army and the people’s committees at al-Fahida, the old Jabal Tawailqan and al-Kanab.”

He stated that “68 violations were recorded in the form of shooting at the houses of citizens, as well as at the objects of the army and people’s committees in the same provinces.”

For his part, Brigadier General Abdo Majali, a spokesman for the National Army affiliated with the Yemeni government, said “the Houthis have committed 4,276 violations since the start of the international truce.”

Since the announcement of the UN truce, the Yemeni government and the Houthis have accused each other of violating it.
