The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the “brutal attack by more than 20 settlers on the southern city of Qusra, their mistreatment of two young men from that city, and their attempt to kidnap a third under the protection of the Israeli occupying forces.”

In a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that “this attack on Palestinian civilians has been consistently repeated throughout the occupied West Bank, with a clear division of roles between the occupying army and the settler militias and their armed terrorist organizations, especially in areas targeted by settlement expansion and seizure of land in favor of the settlements.

She pointed out that “these attacks are against the hearing, sight and protection of the Israeli government and its various military forces, which will not lift a finger against the elements of Jewish terrorism. Rather, they facilitate incursions into Palestinian towns, villages, towns and camps, and provide legal and political cover for their violations and crimes.”

The Foreign Ministry held the Israeli government, led by extremist Naftali Bennett, “full and direct responsibility for these bloody attacks and warned against treating them as numbers or passing events as they are constantly being repeated.” list settler organizations and their militias as terrorists and prevent their members from entering countries.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that “the attack by elements of Jewish terrorism on Kasra is another evidence of the importance of ensuring international protection of the Palestinian people under occupation and gangs of armed settlers.”
