The Toronto District School Board said all closed schools have now reopened.
The incident comes just two days after a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, killed 19 children and two teachers. The authorities refused to “suggest” that what happened this Thursday in Canada was “similar to what happened in the United States.” Even so, the Toronto Police will intensify patrols in the area.
The victims of the Uvalde shooter were all in the same room. Police smashed windows to evacuate students
