Greater pressure in the offensive on Severodonetsk, a key city in the Lugansk region (Donbass), by the Russian army. That is the main conclusion drawn from the events of the early hours of this Friday, in which the bombing of the city caused at least four deaths.
The city’s mayor, Alexander Stryuk, says that Severodonetsk remains under Ukrainian control, but describes a scenario of intense Russian pressure, with constant attacks, which will have killed 1,500 people in total, it is not clear when. Stryuk also says that 60% of the city’s buildings have been destroyed and the outflow of residents is taking place slowly, with only 12 people escaping the previous day.
