South Korea’s Defense Minister orders “difficult response” to any direct provocation from North Korea

South Korean Defense Minister Lee Jong Sop urged senior military officials to respond “strongly” to North Korea’s direct provocations.

South Korea’s defense minister also called for an “immediate response to all air threats”.

Admiral Lee Jong-ho, Commander of the Navy, promised to “build the elite navy based on advanced technologies and lead the armed forces clearly and effectively.”

General Jong Sang-hwa, chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Air Force, also promised to “build the most powerful air force that the public can trust”.
