Major General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Armed Forces, said that the Russian Armed Forces eliminated hundreds of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine using precision-guided weapons shortly after their arrival, while they were still at the training grounds.

He emphasized that “hundreds of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine were liquidated by Russian precision weapons shortly after their arrival in places where they underwent additional training and coordination of tactical units. But most of the mercenaries were destroyed in the war zone due to their low level of training and lack of real combat experience.

He added: “Russian aircraft with precision-guided missiles hit 21 targets where personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are deployed, including the command posts of Ukrainian nationalists in the Krakinsky and Azov districts of the Kharkiv region. We destroyed a number of warehouses with weapons and fuel in the Kharkiv region “In areas belonging to the Kyiv regime.”

Konashenkov also said that over the past day, Russian fighters shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Mykolaiv region.
