Officially, the European Union has published the text of the sixth package of sanctions against Russia

The Council of the European Union has officially adopted a sixth package of sanctions against Russia on the background of military operations in Ukraine, including a “deferred” embargo on the supply of oil and maritime products.

The European Council decision, released on Friday, describes a six-month period to ban the supply of crude oil and an eight-month period for the import of petroleum products.

The document states that Bulgaria and Croatia will receive “temporary exemptions on offshore crude oil supplies from Russia”.

New restriction measures include:

The separation of “Sberbank”, two other Russian banks and a Belarusian bank from the “SWIFT” system for international financial transactions.

-Prohibition on broadcasting on European TV channels Russia RTR / RTR Planet, Russia 24 and TV Center-International and allowing their employees to continue working.

Prohibition on consulting, auditing and public relations services

-Restrict access to cloud services

The names to be added to the personal sanctions lists will appear in the document, which will be published later today in the Official Journal of the European Union, which means that the sanctions will take effect.
