The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “Tunisian President Qais Said reaffirmed his support for the Government of National Unity’s efforts to promote stability and unity,” noting that “Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al-Mankoush and an accompanying delegation arrived in the Tunisian capital on Friday. On an official visit at the invitation of President Qais Said, where she was received by Tunisian Foreign Minister Osman Al Jarandi.
This visit takes place within the framework of consultations between the State of Libya, Tunisia and Algeria, where Al-Mankoush held a joint session of negotiations with her counterparts, the foreign ministers of Tunisia and Algeria, and her belief in the unity of destiny.
The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that “the three countries welcomed the great consensus in positions on the most important issues of mutual interest and their desire to continue efforts to consolidate consultations and coordination through such periodic meetings, when necessary, in order for them to to exchange views and coordinate common positions on regional and international issues, as well as the fact that this leads to problems in politics, security and the economy.”
