Lugansk: Bombing in Ukraine targets humanitarian corridor to prevent civilians from leaving Nitrogen plant

Rodion Mirosnik, Ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic to Russia, said that after announcing that a humanitarian corridor would open starting at 8 am today, the Ukrainian side blocked the exit of civilians from the Nitrogen plant in Severodonetsk.

He pointed out that the Ukrainian army tried to prevent the evacuation of civilians from the Nitrogen plant in Severodonetsk with mortars and tank fire.

A military official from the Luhansk People’s Forces said, “We started observing the ceasefire regime and repaired a corridor from the factory entrance to the outskirts of Severodonetsk. Criticizing that it was impossible to evacuate under these conditions, he announced that “corridor work is now suspended”. At the same time, in his opinion, “Negotiations on the Ukrainian side will continue.”

He added that civilians in Azot knew nothing about the humanitarian corridor.
