Iran threatened … “We will flatten the office of the Prime Minister of Israel!”

Iran responded today Thursday to Israel’s threat to bomb Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s palace.

Mohammad Marandi, an adviser to Iran’s nuclear negotiating team in Vienna, said on his Twitter account: “Iran, in turn, will raz the office of the Israeli prime minister.”

Israel recently warned Bashar al-Assad that if he continued to allow Iran to transfer high-quality weapons to his country, one of its palaces would be targeted by the Israeli army in his next attack on Syria.

According to the Elaf website, Israel began preparing for an operation deep inside Syria, but the same Israeli source said that “the bombing operation that the country witnessed last month was known to the Russian side only a few hours ago.”

And last Friday morning, Israeli forces launched airstrikes south of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Israel has carried out attacks on military sites that it says belong to pro-Iranian factions in several areas in Syria, while Israel has reiterated that it will continue to counter what it describes as Iran’s efforts to establish a military presence in Syria.
