The head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, the commander of the Sudanese army, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, indicated that “our response to the killing of our soldiers in the Al-Fashka area will become a tangible reality on the ground”, stressing that the determination of the leadership of the armed forces “to support the troops and enable them to perform their sacred duty to protect the land and honor, and that the soldiers will not weaken their resolve and embark on the path of redemption and martyrdom for the sake of the country.

When the forces inspected the two sites of the Wood and Cole family in Al-Fashfa Al-Soghra on the eastern border, he stressed that “the blood of the dead will not be in vain, and what happened in the last days in the family area will not happen again,” instructing “not allow no further movement or encroachment on Sudanese lands” and citizens up to the international frontier.”

Al-Burhan inspected the residents of the Al Osra and Wood Cole districts, listened to their demands and promised to complete infrastructure projects such as electricity and roads, and provided valuable support to the women’s and youth sectors.
