The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the Greek Ambassador to Moscow, Yekaterina Nasika, and expressed “strong protest in connection with the confrontational course of the country’s authorities towards Russia, its supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime, as well as the declaration of a group of Russian diplomats in Greece as “undesirable people.”

And she said in a statement that “the ambassador received a note with a notification that eight Greek diplomatic employees in Russia were declared persona non grata, and they must leave Russia within eight days,” noting that “it was confirmed that we are talking about the direct consequences of unfriendly actions, which were initiated by the Greek authorities, and all responsibility for this lies only with Athens, and in the event that the anti-Russian policy continues, we reserve the right to respond.

Earlier, the Russian ambassador to Greece pointed out that “the country is no longer supportive of Russian tourists, and the wave of anti-Russian sentiment is not weakening, but, on the contrary, is fueled by the country’s leadership.”
