Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky pointed out that “Russia is using our territory as a platform to control other European countries”, adding that “we need security guarantees even if we are not part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)”.

And he considered that “what is happening in the energy market of Europe is a war of Russia against these countries”, noting that “the Russian banking system is still effective and the sanctions have not touched it completely”, and stressed that “Russia must be called to peaceful decisions to end the war.

Zelenskiy and his Prime Minister Denis Shmyal announced yesterday during the opening of the Lugansk Conference in southern Switzerland that “the restoration of Ukraine will cost at least $750 billion,” which outlines Ukraine’s future reconstruction.

“The restoration of Ukraine is the common task of the entire democratic world,” Zelensky said in a video address at the conference, adding that “the restoration of Ukraine is the greatest contribution to maintaining world peace.”
