Commenting on the recent U.S. sanctions against the Iranian people, Abbas Muqtadai, Vice Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Shura Council, pointed out that “the recent U.S. embargo against many individuals and companies collaborating with Iran, and although negotiations are ongoing, it has shown that the Americans do not want to cooperate, but rather seek to exert pressure.

And he stressed in a press statement that “the recent American measure has shown that one cannot rely more and more on the United States of America and has proved to everyone that they are striving to achieve their goals by putting more pressure on the Iranian people.” noting that “American officials have realized that the Iranian people are stronger than the ban is stopping them.”

Muqtadai pointed out that “the position of the United States in the international arena is currently weak, and that Iran has passed the embargo period, which the Americans called extreme pressure.”
