The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community and countries “that claim to be interested in a two-state solution to quickly take the necessary practical measures to protect it from the clutches of Israeli bulldozers.”

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that “the occupying Power and its successive governments continue to impose their control over settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and to strengthen the foundations of the Israeli apartheid regime throughout occupied Palestine. in a way that closes the door once and for all.” Before any opportunity to realize an independent, geographically connected and viable Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in such a way that any talks, positions or visions related to peace based on a two-state solution turn into a mirage and unrealistic dreams that are difficult to realize, and turn them into a form of media consumption and disregard for the dignity of the Palestinians.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for “these violations and crimes as a serious violation of international law, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, aggravating the cancellation of signed agreements and disregarding international legality and its resolutions.”
