With “friendly fire”… an Israeli soldier was killed in Palestine

According to Al-Hura reporter in Jerusalem, an Israeli soldier was killed on Tuesday in a shooting near the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank by “friendly” fire.

Initial investigations revealed that an Israeli soldier shot his colleague at a checkpoint near Tulkarm.

According to the investigation, “one of the soldiers left the place for a short time and shot his colleague by mistake when he returned.”

Avikhai Adraei, the spokesman of the Zionist regime’s army, posted on Twitter on Tuesday: “It is clear from the preliminary investigation that it is not about shooting (sabotage) and the conditions of shooting are still ongoing. is under consideration.”

Adraei had said in his previous post that “there have been reports of sabotage firing operations in Darez area near Tulkarm.”

Al-Hura’s reporter from Jerusalem quoted a statement from a military official and reported to Channel Kan that “there is talk of friendly fire and the army is investigating the circumstances of the incident.”
