Finland’s prime minister is ‘upset’ after a private video of him was leaked…

Finnish Prime Minister Senna Marin admitted she celebrated “loudly” after the private videos were released, but said she was angry about the leak, which drew criticism from political opponents, CNN reported.

And videos of the 36-year-old show her dancing with some of her friends at a private venue.

Marin later told reporters, “The videos are considered private and were filmed in a private location, and I’m upset that they’re being shown in public.”

“I just spent a night with my friends and we celebrated loudly and danced and sang,” he added.

The footage shows Marin and five others standing in front of the camera, dancing and singing, while other clips show the prime minister sitting on the floor singing.

This has led some of Marin’s opponents to criticize his behavior as inappropriate for the prime minister, and in this regard, Miko Karna, the government’s opposition representative, demanded a drug test from Marin on Twitter.

Marin told reporters that he drank alcohol at the party with her and that there were no drugs during the party.

Marin’s supporters defended her and opponents accused her of double standards, with Ashok Sven, professor of peace and conflict studies at Uppsala University in Sweden, tweeting: “Why can’t you party after work? Do we expect that Aren’t our leaders human?

Marin denied that the leaked videos were part of an extortion scheme against him, explaining: “These videos are private and were not meant to be public.”

“It was filmed this summer at a friend’s house,” he added, declining to identify the host.

And it is the first time that Marin’s private life has been politicized, as he previously apologized to his public in 2021 after a picture of him in a nightclub was published, following a call to the Secretary of State, which was confirmed. At that time, he was infected with the emerging corona virus.

“I made a mistake. I should have thought about the situation more carefully,” Marin said in an interview with state television at the time.

However, he added: “I am also a real and ordinary person, although I am the Prime Minister and therefore, I will not change my way of acting.”

And he concluded: “Of course, I need to be more careful with my words, but I’m still a normal person and I will be like that in the future.”
