Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that “our goal is not to defeat the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, but to fight terrorism in northern Syria and east of the Euphrates”, noting that “we have no greed for Syrian territory. The Syrian people are our brothers, and their territorial integrity is important to us, and the system must be aware of this.” This is reported by the Turkish channel TRT.
He stated that “we must take additional steps with the Syrian regime as countries can never rule out political and diplomatic dialogue”, noting that “we have taken responsibility for the Syrian crisis and as long as we are part of the solution. the goal is regional peace and the protection of our country from the dangerous threats of the crisis”, stressing that “we must take preliminary steps with Syria, through which we can disrupt many schemes in this region of the Islamic world.”
Erdogan said: “The United States of America and the coalition forces are primarily the breadwinners of terrorism in Syria, they have done it ruthlessly and continue to do so.”
On the other hand, he pointed out that “we are united by the Egyptian people in brotherhood. There can be no disagreements with the Egyptian people, for this reason we need to establish this peace there as soon as possible”, noting that “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude for Turkey’s support in all areas”, emphasizing that “Zelensky demanded through us, so that Russia removes all mines in the area of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.”
