The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States of America stated that “the total number of cases of monkeypox has reached 21,894 cases in various states of the United States.”

The center said in a statement that “cases peaked at 4,300 in California alone, followed by New York State with 3,591 cases, then Florida with 2,193 cases, then Texas with a total of 1,929 cases, followed by Georgia.” A total of 1557 cases.

Monkeypox is usually transmitted from person to person by direct contact, and can also be transmitted through respiratory secretions through prolonged face-to-face contact or physical contact.

The American Center for Diseases released a statement about the start of distribution of the first dose of vaccines to combat the spread of monkeypox, saying that 461,049 doses were distributed to combat the spread of the disease, noting that vaccinations included over 18 years of age.
