The Russian Foreign Ministry drew attention to the fact that Georgia was practicing the transportation of heavy equipment to NATO during the recent exercise “Noble Partner-2022”.

Denis Gonchar, head of the CIS Fourth Directorate of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said in a statement: “The multinational exercise, which lasted two weeks and ended on Tuesday, September 13, included the practice of transferring heavy military equipment to NATO. from Europe to Georgia. This time by land, through Turkey.

And he believed that “Moscow sees this continuous path of drawing Georgia into “NATO” and related activities, “including by equipping the country with modern types of weapons, conducting regular military exercises with the participation of the United States of America and the countries of the alliance on the territory of Georgia,” which represents “not only a challenge to the interests of Russia and its allies in the region, but also a serious threat to the stability and security of the South Caucasus as a whole.”

Gonchar added that “supporters of great support for Georgia should be aware of the degree of their responsibility and understand that we will take into account key points in the development of cooperation between Tbilisi and NATO as seriously as possible.”
