Iran’s delegate to the International Court of Justice (The Hague) Tavakkol Habibzadeh called for the condemnation of America in exchange for its violation of human rights and international rights against Iran and compensation for the damages resulting from these violations.

“The statements made by Zadeh were made during the hearings at the Hague International Court, which began last Monday, on Tehran’s complaint about Washington’s illegal measures against her,” Iranian news agency IRNA reported. He reviewed a number of these practices, “including shooting down an Iranian passenger plane, destroying oil installations in the Persian Gulf, providing financial and military support to the defunct Saddam regime in Iraq during the eight-year war imposed on the Islamic Republic. (1980-1988) and protecting terrorist groups, carrying out sabotage operations and attacks on Iranian scientists and officials.”

In this context, Zadeh pointed out that “Instead of compensating for these actions contrary to the law, the US government passed laws contrary to the attachment agreement it signed in 1955 with Iran, which created the conditions for hundreds of rulings by US domestic courts. v. Islamic Republic of Iran” and the seizure of assets associated with Iranian companies and banks in favor of American citizens.
