He believed that “Al-Aqsa has been subjected to the most dangerous and wide-ranging aggression since its occupation, and the settler incursions represent a new stage in the Judaization of the mosque”, urging Palestinians to “go to the Al-Aqsa Mosque”. and be present in it to protect it from intrusions”, given that “the occupation seeks to divide the Al-Aqsa mosque in time and space. He indicated that he was taking a bold step towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Kanua emphasized that “the normalization of the occupation situation gave him legitimacy for the settler incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
