Lula da Silva grew one percentage point in the intention to vote for the Brazilian presidential elections and reached 45%, according to a BTG/FSB survey revealed on Monday. The same survey also reveals that the figure rises to 48% with the exclusion of blank and null votes. Jair Bolsonaro stayed at the 35% he had in the last poll.
Former Brazilian head of state Lula da Silva expressed confidence in a victory in the first round of Sunday’s presidential election and vowed to start “rebuilding the country” soon.
“We are one step away from victory on October 2, a little missingjust a little”, said the candidate, before an auditorium full of artists from different areas, such as music, film and television, intellectuals and representatives of social movements, in São Paulo.
Broadcast live on social networks, “Super Live Brasil da Esperança” opened the last week of Lula’s campaign, which seeks a third term as head of the country in six days.
