“Seguuuuuura heart”. Hours before the results of the Brazilian elections began to be known, the young Nikolas Ferreira was nervous – or so he showed on Twitter, where he left messages to the million followers he has on that social network. But it was not necessary: after all, the 26-year-old miner not only managed to be elected federal deputy, but was even the most voted deputy in the country, with 1.5 million votes.
But, after all, who is the deputy that Brazil, in this case, in the state of Minas Gerais, elected with the most votes? It is enough to resort to social networks, the most powerful instrument that Nikolas Ferreira had in his hands, and which he used abundantly during the campaign (even to fuel serial controversies) to begin to understand.
It was there that the deputy, who was already a councilor in Belo Horizonte, made a live broadcast with Jair Bolsonaro, in which he told the president: “I am 26 years old, youth is very strong here on my Instagram, I am a Christian and I know how much you fight for it.”
