The security force said in a statement that the 43-year-old detainee was wanted for “crimes against people”since the date she left her country of residence, in August, with two minor children, ages 5 and 9, “against a court order to hand the children over to their parents.”
“The woman and her two children led an itinerant life, with no source of income, and were located in informal housing, no living conditions“, according to the PJ note.

According to the PJ, the detainee was present at the Évora Court of Appeals, in order to evaluate the legal proceedings associated with the extradition process to Germany, and was in pretrial detention.
