At 18, Fils, ranked 112 in the world, is the youngest player to win a tournament this season.after beating Cerundolo, on the 28th, 6-3, 7-5, in one hour and 37 minutes.
“I will remember this forever. It’s been a great week. It was fantastic. I am very happy with this victory and now I want more”, she said.
This season, Fils had already reached the semifinals in Montpellier and Marseille, and should enter the world top 100 for the first time.
