The question was asked in the wee hours of the morning, after the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin was confirmed: “What does this mean for Ukraine?” Anton Gerashchenko, Ukrainian adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs raised the issue on social network X (formerly Twitter) and immediately gave a series of responses. The first was emphatic: “It means Russia will be weakened,” he wrote, before adding that Prigozhin was a different tactician from others in the Kremlin, being capable of “unconventional approaches” and finding “solutions in complex situations.”
What does the news about the execution of Prigozhin and Utkin mean for Ukraine?
???? First of all, it means that Russia will be weakened. A dangerous, cunning, determined and intelligent enemy of Ukraine – Prigozhin has been eliminated. He was capable of something unconventional… pic.twitter.com/WENdUTmqNc
