Global South meets in Havana to discuss future

A total of 134 delegations They will meet from this Thursday until Sunday in the Cuban capital, Havana. The extraordinary summit of the G77+China (group of countries of the current Global South created in 1964) will discuss the state of the global economy, science, international relations and will seek to create the foundations for “more just world”.

Several Heads of State will be present at the summit, including the Cuban president and host, Miguel Diaz-Canelthe president of Brazil, Lula da Silvathe President of Angola, João Lourençothe president of Argentina, Alberto Fernandezthe Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, among others. Also noteworthy is the presence of the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), António Guterres, who will be in charge of opening the event.
