A traffic accident in the United States, in the state of New York, caused at least one death and around 46 injuries this Thursday. A school bus overturned on Interstate 84 in the town of Wawayanda, about 72 kilometers northwest of New York City, police confirmed, cited by the Associated Press.
The New York State Police used social media to report traffic restrictions to allow for the investigation of the accident.

The bus was carrying students from Long Island headed to a camp in Pennsylvania. The accident occurred early in the afternoon and other students riding buses who were not involved in the accident were transported back to the school where they left. On the return trip, they stopped at Orange County Community College to receive psychological support.
Forty-three people were taken to hospitals in the region and so far there are five seriously injured.
