From Germany to Estonia, NATO criticizes Russia’s “recent malign activities” against some member states. “Russia’s actions will not prevent allies from continuing to support Ukraine,” the alliance guarantees.

NATO issued a statement on Thursday denouncing what it says are Russia’s “recent malign activities” against the territory of its member states. In a document sent to the editors, the transatlantic alliance stated that “hostile” activities by Russia had been detected in countries such as Germany, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the United Kingdom.

“These incidents are part of a campaign of activities that Russia is carrying out in the Euro-Atlantic zone, including on the territory of the alliance and through “proxies”the statement reads.

According to the Atlantic Alliance, these activities include “disinformation, sabotage, acts of violence, electronic and cyber interference, disinformation campaigns and other hybrid operations.” “NATO Allies Express Deep Concern about Russian hybrid actions, which constitute a threat to the security of the alliance,” the military organization says in the document.

Furthermore, NATO supports and “expresses solidarity” with affected allies. “We will act individually and collectively against these actions and will continue to coordinate.”

“We will continue to increase our resilience and apply the tools at our disposal to respond to Russian hybrid actions,” promises NATO, which assures that it will ensure that “the alliance and allies are prepared to deter and defend against these actions and hybrid attacks.”

Finally, NATO condemns “Russian behavior” and calls on Russia to comply with “international obligations.” “Russia’s actions will not prevent allies from continuing to support Ukraine”completes the alliance.
