Israel orders evacuation of eastern Rafah
The Israeli army advises civilians in the eastern Rafah area to leave that regionas part of a “limited scope” military intervention that could soon take place there.
The people – it is estimated that they are there around 100 thousand civilians – are advised to go to nearby humanitarian camps, as it will be “safer” to be in those places.
Civilians are being notified through telephone calls and documents containing the “evacuation order” for that area are being distributed.
