“We share a vision,” she stressed, addressing the members of the brotherhood, listing several episodes of their fight for social justice, including contributing to the victory of the Biden-Harris axis in 2020. “At the height of a pandemic, you helped elect Joe Biden as President of the United States and me as the first woman Vice President of the United States. Indiana voters have not conceded victory to a Democratic presidential candidate in nearly 16 years. Harris would not end her speech without first returning to one of her main themes: the repeal of abortion bans. The vice president denounced Trump’s appointment of three judges to the Supreme Court of the United States with the aim of reversing the Roe vs. Wade ruling, which constitutionally protected voluntary termination of pregnancy in the country.
