With Vitinha and João Neves (assisted on the fourth goal) in the ‘eleven’, the Parisians beat Strasbourg at home, with goals from Senny Mayulu (18 minutes), the Spanish Marco Asensio (47), Bradley Barcola (66) and the South. The Korean Lee Kang-In (90), with the visitors reduced by Sekou Mara (58) and the Senegalese Daouda Diongue (90+1).
A day after Monaco drew at home with Lille, PSG is in the lead, with 20 points, the same as the Principality team, and six more than Marseille, which only plays on Sunday, at Montpellier’s home , while Strasbourg is seventh, with 10.
One of the three undefeated teams in the French League, Lens, with David da Costa on the bench, triumphed again, after five draws, by beating Saint-Étienne 2-0, with goals from the Polish Przemyslaw Frankowski (20 minutes ) and the Frenchman Rémy Labeau Lascary (79).
This victory allowed Lens to provisionally rise to fifth place, with 15 points, the same as Marseille, third with one game less, Lille (fourth) and Reims (sixth), which only plays on Sunday, while the ‘ verts’ are in 13th place, with seven, just two above the relegation zone.
The Portuguese Jota made his debut by scoring for Rennes and ended up achieving, in the 87th minute, the draw at home against Brest (1-1), who, with the young Portuguese international Mathias Pereira-Lage in the starting eleven, had taken the lead in the score in the 54th minute, from a penalty converted by Romain Del Castillo.
With this tie, Brest provisionally remains in ninth place, with 10 points, two more than Rennes, which currently occupies 12th position.
