Following Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s recent announcement that he will start voting Republicans, former President Donald Trump turned to Truth Social to give him both ballots. Trump wrote on his platform that Musk’s change of mind was likely due to “all his problems with illegally acquiring Fake Twitter, an aggressively fake company full of accounts.”

In a recent interview with Business Insider, Musk revealed that he had voted mostly Democrats in the past, but now promised to vote Republican. “The truth is, as you know, Twitter is very leftist right now,” Musk said. “I would classify myself as a moderate, not a Republican or Democrat.”
Musk added: “I’ve historically voted too many Democrats – I’m not sure, maybe I didn’t vote Republican to make it clear. I’m going to go this election now.”
Former President Donald Trump commented on Musk’s statement in a post on the new social media platform, Truth Social.
“Wow, Elon Musk didn’t tell me until now he only voted for Democrats,” the former president said. “Actually, it was the other way around back then, but now it seems like all its problems are, maybe about the illegal purchase of a shabby fake company full of fake accounts, Fake Twitter wants to be Republican because Democrats are “party hate.” I would have told him that a long time ago, but it was really a pile of pain, greed, corruption, and really terrible politics. Good luck Elon, have fun!!! ”

Speaking to Fox News, President Trump has previously commented on whether he will return to Twitter, saying, “I’m not on Twitter, I’ll stay with REAL. I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’s made improvements on Twitter and is a good person, but I’m REAL. I will stick to.”
