Bidenflation: Gas prices hit record for 11th consecutive day

As the Biden administration’s policies continue to hurt the American working class, the nationwide average price per gallon of regular gasoline hit a record for the 11th consecutive day on Friday.

As documented by Breitbart News, the American Automobile Association (AAA) said a gallon of regular gasoline averaged $4,593 on Friday, another jump from the record-breaking tenth day when national prices hit $4,589 on Thursday. Medium gas and premium gas were $4,956 and $5,236, respectively, on Friday.

According to the AAA, California, run by Democrats, has the most exorbitant prices in the country, with a state record of $6,064 for a gallon of regular gasoline.

Rounding out the list of highest prices in the country, all but Nevada broke their own records on Friday, according to AAA:

  • Hawaii – $5,370
  • Nevada – $5,240
  • Washington – $5,196
  • Alaska – $5,174
  • Oregon – $5,141
  • Illinois – $4.98
  • New York – $4,919
  • Arizona – $4,861
  • New Jersey – $4,776

The Biden administration has repeatedly been blamed for overspending on Russia and President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

When asked about recording gas prices in March, Biden said he “can’t do much right now” and said, “The responsibility is on Russia,” as Breitbart News noted at the time.

According to Breitbart News, when Biden was asked by journalists what his message was to Americans suffering from the consequences of high gas prices, he replied, “They will rise.”

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm once again dismissed responsibility for the price of the bomb in a meeting with Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) on Thursday, telling the senator that she “could thank Vladimir Putin for his actions in the invasion of Ukraine”.

Hawley challenged Granholm by stating that prices had risen long before the raids.

“Sincerely, Minister, this is complete nonsense,” said Hawley.

“From January to August, the price of gasoline in my state alone increased by more than 30 percent,” he explained on the stock market later, highlighting Missouri’s price increase in 2021. “Since then, there has been steady, sustained growth.”

Hawley went on to summarize the anti-oil policies the Biden administration pursued during its early days in office:

“He immediately turned to the Paris climate agreement. Canceled the Keystone Pipeline. He stopped leasing programs to ANWR. Suspends all new oil and gas leases and drilling permits on federal land and waters for 60 days. all over the country. By the way, that’s 25% of US oil production,” Hawley explained.

“He ordered federal agencies to remove all support for fossil fuels. It introduced new regulations on oil, gas and methane emissions. It was only in the early days. Are you saying it doesn’t affect our energy supply in any way? he asked, again provoking Granholm’s denial.

High gas prices are just one of the crises facing Americans under the Biden administration. With a nationwide shortage of baby food wreaking havoc on infants and their parents, the Department of Labor recently reported that in April the CPI rose 8.3 percent from a year ago to 8.5 percent, a 40-year high. .
