Two companies of Russia and Egypt have signed a memorandum of cooperation providing for the joint development, manufacture and launch of radiopharmaceuticals in the market.
The document was signed between Rusatom Healthcare (a subsidiary of Russian state-owned company “Rosatom”) and the main Egyptian company Pharco Pharmaceuticals, according to the Russian company’s press service.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed as part of the first Africa Health ExCon 2022 exhibition and conference focused on the health and pharmacy market.
A statement released by the Russian company indicates that “the memorandum specified the intentions of the two parties regarding the further development of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.”
In particular, the two sides agreed to develop cooperation in joint radiopharmaceutical development and production projects, conduct preclinical and clinical studies, and register and launch advanced products on the market in Egypt, Eurasian Economic Union and other countries.
