The Beira Baixa Business Association (AEBB) is part of the 4INOVA.PT2 project, which aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with an emphasis on the areas of innovation.
4INOVA.PT2 “aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of SMEs located in the North and Central regions of the country, through the development of innovation activities, cooperation and competition practices, and awareness and training actions for critical factors of competitiveness. , with emphasis on innovation areas“, explained the AEBB.
The project has as beneficiary entities, in addition to the AEBB, the business associations of the regions of Guarda (NERGA), Viseu (AIRV) and Vila Real (NERVIR)
The central objective of 4INOVA.PT2 results from the strategic recognition, by the project partners and the public, of the regions “in the importance of promoting innovation in the business fabricwith a view to increasing the production of value-added, tradable and internationalizable goods and services”.
In this way, it is intended to increase the competitiveness and productivity of the regional and national economy.
In short, the project aims to collectively encourage SMEs in the target regions to promote and intensify innovative activities for their progression in the value chain.
It is structured in seven actions that are operationalized through 18 specific, coherent and complementary activities.
4INOVA.PT2 is co-financed by the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with 427,018.53 euros, and the total eligible cost is 502,374.73 euros.
The deadline for its completion is December 31, 2022.
