Car fares have risen unevenly in several Egyptian governorates after the government announced the country’s biggest increase in petrol prices. Sources at the Cairo Provincial Public Transportation Authority disclosed the administration’s “new prices for buses following the increase in gasoline prices”, explaining that “the price of a trip will increase by 5%, equivalent to 50 piastres, to compensate for the increase in diesel prices.” Prices.”
