BdP discloses list of 11 entities without authorization to grant credit

The Bank of Portugal (BdP) disclosed this Friday a list of 11 entities that are not authorized to grant, intermediate or provide credit advice.

The Bank of Portugal warns that those responsible for the web pages and profiles of the Facebook social network identified below are not, at the current date and have not been, authorized to carry out, in Portugal, any financial activity reserved for institutions subject to the supervision of the Banco de Portugal Portugal, namely, the granting, intermediation and credit consultancy”, reads a released note.

At stake are the pages https://sertovi31.com, http://businesspoint.pt/express-cedito-em-portugal, https://www.findglocal.com/PT/Vila-Real-de-Santo-Ant %C3%B3nio/108626844061295/Servi%C3%A7o-Ajuda-Privado, https://www.facebook.com/mariastela.lourenco, https://www.facebook.com/Creditoemportugal01 and https://www.facebook .com/AjudaPortugalMadeira.

The published list also covers the sites https://www.facebook.com/PortugalAjudaRapido, https://www.facebook.com/AjudaFinanceiro, https://www.facebook.com/PortugalAjudaPessoal, https://www.facebook .com/OfertaAjudaGratis and https://www.facebook.com/PortugalFinanciero.

The financial supervisor also recalled that credit intermediation and consultancy activities are intended for entities authorized to exercise themwhose list can be consulted on the BdP website (www.bportugal.pt) and on the Bank’s Client Portal (https://clientebancario.bportugal.pt).
