Sonae Sierra has notified the Competition Authority of the purchase of Atrium Saldanha, a property located in the center of Lisbon that includes shops, offices and an underground parking lot, reveals a notice published by the regulator.
The notified concentration operation results from the acquisition by Sonae Sierra of the exclusive control of Imosal — Imobiliária do Saldanha -, a company controlled by Kostas and which is the owner and administrator of Atrium Saldanha.
Sonae Sierra, indirectly owned by Efanor Investimentos, a holding company controlled by the Azevedo family, is dedicated to the development, investment and management of shopping centersand other real estate assets used for commercial activities.
Sonae Sierra owns 27 real estate assets in Europe and South America, including the Vasco da Gama shopping center and Colombo, in Lisbon.
